Process Agility Benchmarking tool

About the Process Agility Benchmarking tool

This assessment will help gauge the maturity of your organization’s current BPM/BRMS capabilities and benchmark your activities against your industry peers.

The assessment works from an interactive questionnaire about your organization and its current practices. You start by stating which industry your organization is in, in which region of the world it is located, and its size – this information enables us to benchmark your scores effectively.

Then, you work through a self-assessment by stating the degree to which you agree or disagree with a set of statements. The assessment covers 56 questions over five dimensions: lifecycle, organization, governance, architecture and technology. If you need help as you navigate the assessment, each section and subsection of the assessment offers context-sensitive help in the form of pop-ups. Just click on the [?] links next to section headings and subsection headings within the assessment.

You don't have to complete the full assessment if you don't know the answer to some of the questions, but the more details you can fill in, the more accurate and comprehensive the final assessment will be. You can save the assessment and return to it to complete or alter your responses at any time.

You can also calculate your results and assess your competence levels. The tool will provide an overall analysis of your current performance and outlook. It also shows how your scores compare to the benchmark scores across all users and is presented online.

If you want a more detailed benchmark and to find out how your current competency levels affect your BPM/BRMS strategy, you can opt to generate a personalized action plan. This PDF report shows benchmarks that compare your readiness against other organizations of a similar size, in the same industry, and in the same geographical region. Your action plan also highlights a set of critical next steps you will need to take in order to improve your BPM/BRMS readiness and maturity.

The action plan report is a document that you may download and share within your organization. As with the basic self-assessment, you can generate and download this report as many times as you like. So as your competency levels increase over time, you can keep benchmarking them against your industry peers, make sure you’re heading in the right direction and get advice on taking the next steps to continued BPM/BRMS maturity and excellence.
